| Older Registration Form ask for my Social Security Number. My parents are reluctant to provide that. Why do you need it? | The new forms do
not ask for your SSN. If you win an award requiring we have your SSN,
you will then be asked for it.
Some of the awards given at the Awards Ceremony are cash, savings bonds, and scholarships. We are required by law to provide that information to the necessary federal agencies. You do NOT have to provide your Social Security Number unless you receive an award that requires it. |
| The Registration Forms for our school were sent, but we have not received any Confirmation Notices. Does this mean that we are not registered? | No! It just means that the Registration Forms were received after the "deadline." This deadline is the date used for the Confirmation Notices mailings. Registrations received after this date will still be accepted. Please come to the fair whether you have received a Confirmation Notice or not! |
