The CSRA Regional Science and Engineering Fair alternates locations between these two excellent schools:

Augusta State University - Hosts the CSRA Regional Science Fair on odd years ('97, '99, '01, etc.)
University of South Carolina at Aiken - Hosts the CSRA Regional Science Fair on even years ('98, '00, '02, etc.)

The CSRA Regional Science and Engineering Fair is sanctioned by Science Service.  Therefore, we use the rules they provide us.

The Ruth Patrick Science Education Center is an excellent science education center.
The University of Central Florida hosts an Internet Science and Technology Fair.  Check it out.
The California State Science Fair is one of the larger in the country.
This is not a Science Fair site, but it is an excellent site and a fun place to visit.   Check out the National Science Center's Fort Discovery.

SCIWay is an online information service for South Carolina.

Los Alamos National Labs Science Education Center has many science education links.

Discovery Young Scientists Challenge   Discovery Communications and Science Service team up to allow Middle School Students to compete at a National Level.

Internet Scout Project  The Internet Scout Project is designed to help you find the resources you need on the Internet.   Funded in part by NSF, the project is devoted to finding online resources most valuable to the education community.

NASA Life Sciences Support Contract Science Project Guidelines:  This is a site that provides a comprehensive set of guidelines on the fundamentals of putting together a science fair project.  The Guide has been written from the experiece of judges from the Life Sciences Support Contract at the Kennedy Space Center  who have judged at their local science fairs.

Odyssey Magazine  Explore this site for the latest news in science and check our special science features just for kids such as StarGazing with Jack Horkheimer, Ask A Scientist, live Webcams, and more.  From the award-winning science magazine for young readers, ages, 10-16.

The SciCentral News Alert   SciCentral.com was created and is maintained by professional scientists; it's ongoing mission is to identify and centralize access on a timely basis to the most valuable scientific and technical resources.

Summit on Science  The goal of SOS is to advance an understanding of the processes of science: how ideas arise, how evidence is collected and weighed, how debates are settled, how ethical issues are resolved, and how conclusions are applied to real-word situations.  Individual and collaborative exploration in specific areas of science is encouraged.

The World-Wide Web Vitual Library:  Science Fairs  The WWW Vitual Library has a comprehensive list that attempts to provide "every science fair accessible through the World Wide Web," whether of global or local scope.  Many of the sites have resource pages that provide additional links.  Visit other fair sites to get ideas for your own site and/or let the Vitual Library know about your site if you are not already linked.
