Mysuru: Defence Food Research Laboratory (DFRL), Siddarthanagar, Mysuru, has invited applications for admission to Post-Graduate (PG) Diploma Course in Food Analysis and Quality Assurance.
The 10-month course starts from Sept. 6 and is recognised by the University of Mysore. In all, 25 seats are available for admission and the selection is based on written test followed by an interview.
Eligibility: The candidate should have at least a Degree in Science with Chemistry/Biochemistry as one of the subjects or B.Sc. Degree in Agriculture/ Veterinary Science/Food Science and Technology/ Home Science/Nutrition and Dietetics/Food and Nutrition/Food Science and Nutrition from a recognised University securing a minimum of 50 percent marks in the aggregate or equivalent.
The syllabus for the written test will be based on the following subjects studied at Degree level: Chemistry, Biochemistry, Agriculture, Veterinary Science, Home Science, Nutrition and Dietetics, Food and Nutrition, Food Science and Technology, Food Science and Nutrition.
B.E or B. Tech degree is not eligible for this course.
