Matthew Moore focuses his research on food microbiology, specifically food safety. Not only are viruses are the leading cause of foodborne illness in the US and globally, but they are also a public health and economic concern. His research helps people to better understand, detect and prevent these viruses. Hear about the food we eat—and shouldn’t eat.
