Obesity numbers on the rise: Study shows half of US residents will be obese in 2030 – WIFR

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) — A recent study shows that more than half of the population in the United States will suffer from obesity in the year 2030. But local Rockford facilities want to make the forest city doesn’t become another statistic and make sure Rockford becomes a top 25 healthiest place to live in the year 2025.

Waistlines in our country will continue to get wider unless people change their lifestyle habits. According to Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. In ten years 1 in every 4 people will suffer from severe obesity. Making changes to your lifestyle are combination of the food you eat and the exercise some tip may include,

“The best thing to do is in home cooking as often as we can. Drink more water and less of everything else that’s the number one healthy hack that’s out there, number two eat food for fueling our body not consumption for comfort,” said Coach Mac owner of Food 4 Fuel, a meal prep company.

“We need to walk every day you know a lot of people like to track their steps if you don’t have tracker you still need to walk every day. There’s a lot of variations you can choose from its all about getting it done and doing it,” said Tim Bailey, MercyHealth Sports Performance Manager.
